| 1941:
On April 20, 1941, Miss Miriam Wood unveiled a tablet dedicated to the founders of the church and the Revolutionary War soldiers who were buried in the church-yard. Exercises were conducted by the Kate Aylesford Chapter, D.A.R. of Hammonton. Miss Wood is a great-great-granddaughter of William Ackley, one of the founders of Friendship. Note: The interior and exterior of the church have been kept in excellent condition through the years, having been reroofed, repainted, repapered, recarpeted and window shades replaced; all to preserve the original beauty of the sanctuary. 1942:
